You didn't give burner specs or nozzle size but if using a solid nozzle, you may lessen noise with a hollow nozzle but make sure you do the proper adjustments. It's pretty normal for a saw to leak bar oil. My understanding is that the oil is siphoned out due to pressure differential between inside the tank and atmospheric pressure.
